At CSSM we have 2 different streams of Strength and Conditioning programs available: PIER (Practitioner Instructed Exercise Rehabilitation) and One:One GymFIT sessions.
PIER is Studio Based Exercise with a rehabilitation focus, for current or existing injuries or for those who would like a slower, personalised focus. Clients have a targeted program based on their individual health goals and guided by the extent of injury or ability. Health Insurance rebates may be available for this class type (Physio item code 560). Please note, to join a Clinical Pilates class it is a requirement that you complete a Clinical Pilates Starter Pack, involving an Initial Assessment and 2 private sessions. This can be organised by phoning the clinic to make an appointment.

PIER Gym is Gymnasium based exercise program with a rehabilitation focus, for current or existing injuries or for those who would like a slower, personalised focus. Patients have a targeted program based on their individual health goals and guided by the extent of injury or ability. Health Insurance rebates may be available for this class type (Physio item code 560). Please note, to join a PIER program it is a requirement that you complete a PIER initial assessment, involving a consultation with one of our Physiotherapy team, where a tailored program will be designed and you will receive a gymnasium induction. This can be organised by phoning the clinic to make an appointment.
PilatesFIT classes are designed for those who are not in need of specific injury rehabilitation or prevention but are looking to improve their general strength, conditioning and fitness. Classes are perfect for everyone from beginners, to those who’ve done Pilates classes in the past to those simply wanting to try a new form of exercise.
Below is the weekly class schedule for all Pilates classes offered at CSSM. Clicking ‘BOOK THIS CLASS’ will give you the option to sign in and book if you are an existing client or create an account and book if you are a new to Pilates at CSSM.
Getting Started – PIER is focussed towards injury rehabilitation and management. Clients starting Clinical Pilates must first complete a Clinical Pilates Starter Pack involving an Initial Assessment and 2 subsequent private sessions prior to booking into a Clinical Pilates group session. Contact our team at the clinic to arrange your initial Pilates assessment.
Getting Started – Studio Pilates is focussed on strength and conditioning. Clients wishing to enter Studio Pilates group sessions, who aren’t transferring from Clinical Pilates, must complete an Initial Assessment prior to entering a Studio Pilates Group class. Clients moving from Clinical Pilates to Studio Pilates can transition directly into a Studio Pilates group class. Contact our team to arrange your Initial Assessment, purchase a Private Studio Pilates Session or a Studio Pilates Package.
Getting Started – PilatesFIT is focussed towards general fitness and wellbeing.Clients wishing to commence PilatesFIT may do so by booking into a class directly.Pre-payment is required for all classes.
Both pay as you go and unlimited class membership options are available.
