IMPORTANT NOTICE - COVID RESTRICTIONS & CSSM SERVICES

Update 18th October 2021

Under COVID-19 restrictions currently in place, Camberwell Sports & Spinal Medicine continues to be an essential service and remains OPEN with strict COVIDsafe procedures in place.

Under current provisions in place until Friday 21st October our PhysioOsteo, and Podiatry team are available to provide treatment but there are some changes and restrictions.  These restrictions relate to how essential and necessary your care is.

If telehealth isn’t appropriate, CSSM can provide face-to-face appointments for urgent and essential care.  Urgent and essential care is:

  • Where delayed care would result in the escalation of care needs or an increased frequency of treatment.
  • Where an absence of care would result in a significant increase in pain.
  • When you require assessment for a serious injury or may require a referral for further testing or specialist input.
  • In situations where delayed rehabilitation will result in deterioration of function or a substantial increase in recovery time.

Full services returns on Friday 21st October – Until this time if  you require routine care or maintenance care we can direct you to our telehealth services for these less urgent needs.

To ensure we are complying with the lock down provisions, after you book your appointment,  your practitioner will contact you prior to your session to confirm your needs and suitability for care.

If you’re unsure about an injury and the best way we can help you, please call the clinic on 9889 1078.

This policy is in line with a Public Health ruling that applies to all practices in the Melbourne metro area.  It is designed to limit unnecessary movement and contact during the COVID-19 crisis.

From Friday October 21st 2021 Myotherapy and Remedial Massage Services will also become available for double vaccinated patients.
