Terms & Conditions

1. Our Commitment to You

We are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to all our patients. Our physiotherapists are fully qualified, registered, and committed to ongoing professional development. We strive to offer evidence-based treatment, transparent communication, and a respectful, supportive environment. All information shared with us will be treated confidentially in accordance with relevant privacy legislation.

2. Your Commitment to Us

  • Please provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding your health, medications, and relevant history to ensure safe and effective treatment.
  • Arrive on time for all scheduled appointments and follow the advice and exercises prescribed by your physiotherapist.
  • Inform us of any changes in your health status, symptoms, or circumstances that may affect your treatment plan.
  • Respect our staff and other patients, and adhere to our clinic policies and procedures at all times.

3. Cancellations

  • If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient in need of care.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may incur a cancellation fee, as detailed in our billing section.
  • Repeated late cancellations may affect your ability to book future appointments.

4. Late and Missed Appointments

  • Arriving late may result in a shortened session to avoid delaying subsequent patients.
  • If you miss an appointment without notice, a missed appointment fee may be charged. This fee is not covered by health funds or insurance.
  • We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but full session charges may still apply.

5. Consent to Treatment

  • Before commencing treatment, your physiotherapist will explain the proposed interventions, anticipated benefits, potential risks, and alternatives available.
  • You have the right to ask questions and to decline, pause, or stop treatment at any time.
  • Your informed consent is required before any treatment begins, and may be withdrawn at any stage without affecting ongoing care.

6. Consent to Obtain and Release Information

  • To provide comprehensive care, we may need to obtain health information from your referring doctor or other healthcare providers. Your written consent will always be sought before we do so.
  • We may be required to share details of your assessment or progress with other members of your healthcare team. This will only be done with your explicit consent or as required by law.
  • Your information will never be shared with third parties for marketing or non-clinical purposes without your express permission.

7. Accounts and Billing

  • Payment is required at the time of your appointment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in advance.
  • We accept a variety of payment methods, including credit/debit cards, cash, and electronic funds transfer.
  • Any cancellation or missed appointment fees will be charged as per our policy. These fees are non-rebatable by health funds or insurers.
  • Unpaid accounts may result in the suspension of further appointments until outstanding balances are settled.
  • A detailed invoice will be provided for all services rendered, suitable for submission to your health fund or insurance provider if applicable.

8. Exclusion of Liability

  • While our team endeavours to provide effective, safe care, no treatment is entirely risk-free. Outcomes may vary depending on individual factors beyond our control.
  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from the use or misuse of information, exercises, or advice provided outside of the clinical setting.
  • All personal property brought onto the premises is at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items.

9. General Promotion Terms and Conditions

  • Promotions or special offers are subject to stated terms, including eligibility criteria, expiry dates, and usage limits.
  • Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash, combined with other offers, or applied retrospectively unless specified.
  • We reserve the right to modify, withdraw, or terminate promotions at any time without notice.
  • Any misuse or fraudulent use of promotions may result in forfeiture of benefits and restriction from future offers.

10. Use of AI for Clinical Notes

  • Our clinic may utilise artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist clinicians in generating, organising, or summarising clinical notes.
  • All AI-generated documentation is reviewed and validated by a qualified physiotherapist before being entered into your health record.
  • We take privacy and security seriously, complying with all applicable healthcare regulations and data protection standards. AI tools used do not store or share patient data beyond what is necessary for the intended clinical purpose.
  • You may opt out of AI-assisted record-keeping at any time by informing your physiotherapist.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes in law, clinic procedures, or best practices. The latest version will always be available at our reception and on our official website.
