GLA:D BACK

> Evidence Based Approach

> Tailored to your needs.

> Scientifically Designed for Everyday Life.

GLA:D Back is a treatment option for patients with long-term or recurrent low back pain that affects everyday life. The program combines both education and exercise to improve self-management skills in patients with back pain.

GLA:D stands for Good Life with Osteoarthritis: Denmark. The GLA:D program initially began with research into treatment, rehabilitation and education of conditions surrounding the hip and knee. We’re pleased to announce that this scope has been extended to manage ongoing conditions and pain relating to the spine.

The GLA:D BACK program runs for 10 weeks and consists of

  • Week 1: Initial assessment and two education sessions (as early as possible)
  • Week 2-9: two exercise sessions per week, tailored to your ability and needs
  • Week 9/10: Re-assessment and opportunity to progress exercises within the clinic setting OR continue exercises independently

Why GLA:D?
